Czasopismo publikuje artykuły w szeroko rozumianej problematyce inżynierii i ochrony środowiska obejmujące nie tylko technologie i urządzenia stosowane w uzdatnianiu wody, oczyszczaniu ścieków, oczyszczaniu powietrza, termicznej utylizacji oraz przeróbce i wykorzystaniu odpadów np. w branży budowlanej ale także szeroko rozumiane instalacje sanitarne, jak również prawo ochrony środowiska, edukację ale także ochronę zdrowia w odniesieniu do ochrony środowiska człowieka. W pierwszej kolejności będą kwalifikowane oryginalne prace własne w szczególności wyniki badań procesowych oraz ich analiza, a następnie prace teoretyczne. Artykuły w Roczniku (wersja drukowana) publikowane będą w języku angielskim. Natomiast na stronie internetowej istnieje możliwość umieszczenia dodatkowo wersji polskiej. Każdy zgłoszony artykuł kierowany jest do dwóch Recenzentów – samodzielnych pracowników naukowych specjalizujących się w danej tematyce. Recenzenci nie są afiliowani w tej samej instytucji co Autor (Autorzy) recenzowanego artykułu. W przypadku, gdy jedna z recenzji jest negatywna powołuje się trzeciego Recenzenta – tzw. rozjemcę, przy czym trzeci Recenzent nie jest informowany o fakcie, że istnieje recenzja negatywna. Redakcja zastrzega sobie prawo do wprowadzania skrótów, poprawek stylistycznych, uzupełnień oraz korekty przytaczanej nadmiernie literatury (której związek z treścią publikacji jest wątpliwy), o ile zdaniem redakcji podniesie to wartość merytoryczną i poczytność czasopisma. Po zatwierdzeniu pracy do druku, Autorzy otrzymują informację dotyczącą kwoty, jaką należy wpłacić na konto Redakcji, celem opublikowania artykułu. Kwota za artykuł (do 12 stron) wynosi 1000 zł. Dopłata za każdą kolejną stronę wynosi 75 zł. Przesłanie artykułu do Rocznika jest równoznaczne z wyrażeniem zgody na warunki procedowania.
