Law & Policy has an excellent record of publishing research by non-U.S. based scholars; about 40 percent of the contributors in the last five years have come from outside the United States, with particularly strong representation of authors from Britain, Australia, and Canada. The journal also frequently features comparative analyses of legal policy issues. Examples include special issues of the journal devoted to regulation and enforcement in the U.S. and Japan; marriage and cohabitation policy in the North America and the U.K.; law, technology, and development; and lay participation in the legal system in Spain, Russia, and elsewhere.
